I keep hearing news anchors and commentators asking their guests on their programs,"Do you think we are safer from terrorists today than we were 5 years ago?" You hear a lot of the respondents saying no, they do not think we are, or they hem-haw around the issue. I believe we are definitely safer today than 5 years ago. The London/USA intervention in the plot to hijack and destroy 10 US airliners recently is a sure indication we are safer. Five years ago, that plot would have succeded.
